Hire BALM Students: Our students students are trained for a range of leadership, research, teaching, and practice roles in mental health and development sectors. They are provided a nuanced and intimate understanding of the Indian social context that supports their understanding, addressing, and active participation in the amelioration of critical social issues. Equipped with direct practice experience from two distinct field placements and the knowledge of social and psychological concerns, social welfare policies and social service organizations, our students are prepared to use research and practice to solve complex social problems and transform lives.
